The National High Field NMR Centre, NANUC, and the University of
Alberta NMR facilities would like to take this opportunity to inform you of some special events happening at
the University of Alberta and NANUC during the upcoming Canadian Society of Chemistry conference (May 24-28)
in Edmonton, Alberta
On Monday the 26th NANUC will host a luncheon beginning at 12:30 pm. There will be food, refreshments
and tours of NANUC. Please see the University of Alberta map to find NANUC (from the 2 LRT stops on the
university campus).
There will be door prizes so remember to save your transit pass as it is your ticket to prizes ranging from
an iPod Touch to golf jackets, golf shirts and frisbees.
Representatives from U of A NMR labs will be available for questions and tours of local facilities at NANUC,
Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Finally, there will be free access to the NANUC 800 MHz with 5mm HCN cold probe system for the entire week of
the CSC conference to any CSC registrant.
Experiments will be limited to 1 hr each for all weekdays, 4 overnight experiments (5pm - 9am
Monday-Thursday), and one 2 day period (Friday 5pm, May 30 - Monday 9am, June 2).
